The 4,2 cm Pak 41 used the Zielfernrohr 1X11° gun sight, located to the top left of the gun. When fireing with Panzergranaten, targets up to 600 m. away were aimed at using the "6" aiming point. For targets between 600 m. and 1,000 m. away, the "10" aiming point was used. When aiming using the "10" aiming point, and aiming at the lower edge of the enemy tank, the impact point was approximately 1.2 m. above the ground.

When fireing with Sprenggranaten, all four aiming points (2, 6, 10 and 12) were used, with "2" being used up to 200 m., "6" being used between 200 m. and 600 m., "10" being used between 600 m. and 1,000 m. and "12" being used between 1,000 m. and 1,200 m.
